CASUALTY UNDERWRITER Glasgow   To £40,000 + Bonus

An exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced Liability Underwriter to join a  leading insurer in a high profile position. The successful applicant will operate exclusively within the broker market and must be able to demonstrate good technical underwriting knowledge and experience within the Liability arena for both new and existing business.

About the Role:

Responsible for the underwriting of complex Casualty risks
You will operate within agreed underwriting guidelines  
Agreeing terms across a variety of Casualty products  
Working individually and collectively with other team members
Delivery of outstanding underwriting and customer service to Brokers in your Area

Key Skills/Experience Required:

Previous technical underwriting experience in a Casualty underwriting role  
Strong underwriting management skills and ability to use technical knowledge to deliver technically sound commercial trading decisions to brokers
Good negotiation skills
Good communication and relationship building skills
