This business services company is looking for an accountant for their head office to add to their existing team and look after the management accounting for the various client contracts. This is a newly created role due to recent growth and would suit a recently qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or similar) with industry experience, or possibly a finalist, looking for a company where they can really progress their career and hopefully move on to manager level in the medium term. Your duties would include:

- Preparing profit & loss reports and cashflows
- Analysing variances from forecast
- Preparing budgets and forecasts, and reforecasting monthly
- Calculating accruals and prepayments
- Preparing journal entries
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and calculating depreciations

This is a business facing role so you will need to be a good communicator, able to confidently present in senior management meetings. We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant although finalists would be considered, and you must have some form of management accounting experience from an industry background.
