Assistant Stock Accountant Falkirk (Town)   £18000 - £21000 per annum

The Client

Our client, a leading organisation based in the central belt currently require an Assistant Stock Accountant due to growth.

The Role
Key elements of the role will include;
• Develop strong relationships with all key suppliers and HMRC, ensuring that all issues and queries are dealt with effectively
• Develop strong relationships with depot and regional management, ensuring that any issues are dealt with expediently, and that best practice processes are being adopted.
• Conduct GRNI reconciliation and review
• Conduct inventory reporting, daily stock reconciliation and COS reconciliations by depot and product
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintenance of supplier accounts to ensure accurate payment allocations
• Any other project/ad-hoc work as required

Key Criteria

To be successful in the role you will possess the following;

• Extremely commercially aware
• Possess a proven level of interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess excellent IT skills especially Excel
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Track record of dealing with internal and external clients effectively
• Experience of a high volume GRNI environment
• Relevant industry experience desirable
• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified would be desirable
