Assistant Financial Accountant Falkirk (Town)   £25000 - £30000 per annum

The Client
Our client, a leading organisation based in the central belt currently require an Assistant Financial Accountant due to growth. You will report to the Financial Accountant, the successful candidate should be a CIMA/ACCA finalist or newly qualified and have at least three years experience in an accounts environment.

The Role

• Ensure that all Balance Sheet reconciliations across the business are completed and reviewed on a monthly basis
• Ownership of the fixed asset register and business processes in the recording and reporting of fixed assets
• Completion and on-line submission of monthly VAT returns
• Identifying and maintaining key business controls on cash management and supplier reconciliations
• Support the annual Corporation Tax and P11D preparation process
• Agree all inter-company reconciliations with other Group entities
• Preparation of the statutory accounts for various entities across the Group
• Liaison with Group Finance on all corporate finance matters
• Assist in budget setting
• Other Ad-hoc duties as required

Key Criteria

• Previous experience of working in an accounts department
• ACCA/CIMA finalist or newly qualified
• Management experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Able to work under pressure in fast moving environment
