Hays Treasury and Transactions Manager Edinburgh   Up to 43,000

Based in the historic, yet culturally vibrant city of Edinburgh, you will join the finance team, which is focused on providing the high quality services required to support the development and effective operation of the University.

This role requires a talented individual who has the ability to lead and manage the treasury and transactions team (13 staff encompassing income & credit control, banking & cash and accounts payables functions) whilst contributing to the ongoing general development of the University Finance Function. You will be experienced at a senior level in financial management with a proven track record of achievement within a medium size public or private sector organisation.

Additionally you will have:

· A demonstrable track record in managing and developing staff
· Experience of developing and implementing controls and procedures
· Experience of delivering the highest standards of performance and customer service
· Excellent communication skills
· Proven track record in forging relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders
· Strong IT skills including experience of large-scale financial management systems.
· The ability to negotiate and influence

Reporting directly to the Head of Accounting & Financial Planning, you will take the lead role in ensuring all internal and external reporting is timely and accurate whilst providing a customer focused responsive service to all contact.

Benefits:

• Salary range £35,468 - £43,622
• 21/26 days holiday depending on continuous service + 14 statutory days
