Job Summary

Grade: Grade 3 £7.34 - £8.03 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Millport Duration: 26 Weeks (April to September) What is the Role? To undertake duties concerned with the Council's comprehensive Cleansing & Waste Management Service.

What will you do?

Sweeping, collection and removal of waste from public spaces. Duties concerned with the removal of household, industrial and commercial refuse from a variety of locations. Beach cleaning. Dealing with dog fouling issues. Assisting in the Garden Refuse Scheme. Traffic control on location or at disposal/recycling centres. Site cleanliness and tidiness including facilities. General cleansing, disposal and recycling labouring.

What do you need to bring to the Role?

Experience in the use of tools associated with Street Cleaning and the ability to work to instruction and to deadlines.
