PROJECT COORDINATOR

Fixed Term 2 years (Secondment may be considered)

Full time: 32.5 hours per week   Salary: £23,082 - £28,680 p.a. (Band 6 equivalent)

Base: CHSS offices, Edinburgh

This new post offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate a project which will enable unpaid/informal carers to better support people discharged home from hospital following a stroke. The project aims to provide advice, information and support through a web-based training and information package.  This work will form part of the successful STARs (Stroke Training and Awareness Resources) website.

The role requires a creative individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.  Candidates must have a first level general nursing, allied health professional or similar qualification and have a minimum of four years’ post registration experience  some of which is in stroke care.  The post holder should have confident, competent computer skills but will not be responsible for building or designing the website.
