3 questions we’d like to ask

  1. Do you want to push yourself to the next stage of your career with a leading social care organisation?
  2. Do you have a track record of exceeding expectations?
  3. Do you believe your next move should be to report to someone who is driven to achieve, and not settle for second best?

If so, then read on.

Our client, one of Scotland’s best known social care organisations has an enviable track record of delivering the highest quality of services to people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, acquired brain injury and also to older and young people.

A dynamic and ambitious organisation that is driven by continuous improvement in all aspects of their business, with service users at the heart of everything they do.

You

This post is crucial to the maintenance and development of their values and vision. To match this drive for excellence, our client has created this new post, to work closely with the Director in pushing the business forward, whilst line managing three senior managers who, day-to-day, manage the services and their cutting edge Social Care Academy.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, be able to demonstrate outstanding communication skills and the ability to develop and grow the business both geographically, and in scope, without compromising their quality standards.

Expectations

We are looking for a creative yet robust senior manager with a track record of exceeding expectations in: strategy, business development, performance management and service delivery. You will be expected to push your own senior management team with potential business ideas, whilst maintaining an assertive but developmental management style to those in your direct care, namely the Head of Best Practice, Head of Performance & the Social Care Academy Manager.

It is assumed that all applicants will be fully versed in abiding by the National Care Standards & SSSC’s code of conduct, and have a substantial track record in the field of managing support / care services.
