Job Description

What is the role?

The role of the Depute Head Teacher is to assist and, where necessary, to deputise for the Head Teacher in the conduct of the school's affairs.

What will you do?

Duties will include the responsibility for the leadership, good management and strategic direction of colleagues, contributing to the development and management of school policy in relation to the behaviour management of pupils, to assist in the management and review of CPD needs, career development and performance of colleagues and assisting in the management, deployment and development of pastoral care staff.

What do you need to bring?

The post-holder has a duty to report concerns about the well-being of children, or vulnerable service users; the post-holder must have the ability to form and maintain appropriate professional relationships with service users. Tha salary of this post is £41,298.
