Job Summary

Grade: Grade 7 £21,613 - £23,605 Hours: 35 hours per week Location: Vernon Street, Saltcoats What is the Role? To assist in the assessment of need for older people and in the community and the provision of Social Work Services, within the context of relevant legislation, Council Procedures and recognized best practice.

What will you do?

Undertake Single Shared Assessments relating to older people and to carry out care co-ordination tasks under the direction of the Team Leader. Provide support and advice to service users and to advocate on their behalf.

What do you need to bring to the Role?

HNC Social Care or SVQ Level III Social Care. Experience in working with older people and their carers, in varying capacities.
