As second in command, it’s your responsibility to support the Manager in driving sales of the latest 3G technology in a challenging, competitive market place. You’ll help to run a profitable and efficient store in every respect, and will directly support the Manager in leading and motivating a world class retail team. You will, above all, be passionate about people, be they our customers or your team, and you’ll set the highest standards of customer service to ensure it is consistently delivered every day.
Essential Qualities
Market Knowledge: You understand the market we are in and will work with the Manager to translate that into daily activities to make your store profitable.
Leadership: In theManager’s absence you guide the teamby giving clear direction, encouraging consistently high standards - whatever the task.
Customer Service: Every member of your team will share your desire to give world class customer service to everyone who visits your store. The Manager will set the standards that the team will aspire to, and you will emulate those so that the team can learn from you.
Store Standards: You’ll be the second pair of eyes, ensuring that the look and feel of your store enables us to capitalise on every sales opportunity.
Compliance: You’ll support the Manager in ensuring that the Company’s compliance standards are always met, both on the shop floor and in the back office.
Self motivation: You bring energy and enthusiasm to every day, you complete tasks as they need to be done, and you are loyal to and support your Manager in running the store as if it were your own business.
Accountabilities
People
You’ll share your knowledge and experience with the team, and help to keep them focussed and motivated.
You’ll keep the Manager informed of potential people problems to ensure they are resolved quickly.
You will be a true ambassador for the 3 brand.
Proposition
Your store will consistently deliver a world class customer service experience through exceptional store standards and effective sales floor management.
You’ll Implement the latest brand marketing and merchandising POS to maximise every sales opportunity.
You’ll have expert knowledge of 3’s products and tariffs, and ensure that the team do too. You’ll be aware of what our competitors offer and what we offer that beats our competitors’ proposition.
Profit
You’ll support the Manager in effectively and profitably managing sales, stock, cash and assets.
You’ll look for opportunities to control costs.
You’ll be aware of the importance of achieving the required standards to ensure a happy, secure and safe environment for your colleagues and your customers.
