Hudson is working with a Global business based in Glasgow that due to continuous expansion is looking to hire a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis with a strong commercial awareness and large company background.
This role works very closely with the business, providing financial leadership and support mainly to the Global Sales Senior Management team.
The successful candidate will enhance the current infrastructure and processes to enable measurements for key business metrics including revenue forecasting and reporting, operating expense management and driving productivity initiatives.
Duties:
- Owning P&L Forecasting in conjunction with the Global Sales Team- providing monthly financial revenue, margin, base cost and P&L reporting for the region.
- Engaging in sales operations activity and driving standard margins.
- Acting as a key thought partner for regional sales operations leadership on pricing and commercial analytics.
- Partnering with region accounting and internal audit to establish rigorous routines and controls.
- Continually improving the financial planning and analysis functions. Analysing performance against plan and standards.
- Reporting and interpreting the results of operations to all levels of management including designing and implementing policies and procedures, coordinating with information systems and the development of regular and special reports.
- Providing leadership and development to all sales Finance Managers and Analysts in the region.
- Developing leading and driving forecasting calls with field sales teams.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA) and will have previous experience within a similar commercial position in a global business.
Please note candidates will only be considered for this role if they have a worked at Director level in a Pan European Role .
