We currently have a vacancy for a Pastry chef on a full time seasonal contract to work in a very busy and disciplined environment under the supervision of our award wining Head Chef, Darren Harrison. The successful candidate should have a high competency level in both food preparation and production. You must have relevant experience in a hotel or restaurant environment where the emphasis was on good, fresh, seasonal produce sourced locally; you must be ambitious, hard-working and have a real desire to further your career. The ideal candidate is expected to have a full knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH and qualified to at least NVQ level 2.
The Pastry Chef’s responsibilities include running the day-to-day smooth operation of the pastry kitchen and to ensuring that all quality, cost, and safety standards are adhered to. The role also includes the Planning and production of all dessert and bakery items consumed on property and the planning of the daily and seasonal dessert menus for all outlets.
