Job Summary

Grade: Grade 5 £9.31 - £10.19 per hour Hours: 37 Hours Per Week Location: Isle of Arran Duration: 26 Weeks What is the Role? To be responsible for a small team working on the grass cutting scheme, and to participate in the maintenance of gardens selected for the Grass Cutting Scheme.

What will you do?

To supervise and transport work team. Carry out inspections of work sites prior to commencement of grass cutting. Grass cutting and the removal of arisings from completed gardens. Dealing with enquiries from recipients of the scheme. To ensure that safe working practices are undertaken. To complete associated returns.

What do you need to bring to the Role?

Supervisory experience. Experience in the use of hand tools and light plant associated with grounds maintenance. The ability to give clear instruction and direction. A driving licence covering categories B, C1 and E.
