Financial Reporting Manager Edinburgh   £35,000k pro rata + benefits

Michael Page are recruiting a Financial Reporting Manager for one of the Financial Services organisations in Edinburgh. The position is a contract role for 12 months.

¨        The provision of timely and accurate monthly reporting (against budget / forecast). The provision of timely and accurate forecasts, with variances understood and explained.

¨        Maintenance / development of a robust financial control environment ensuring integrity of the balance sheet and reported results.

¨        Delivery of half year and full year reporting to: shareholders, and supporting the attainment of clean audit management reports.

¨        Support the Senior Financial Reporting Manager in the oversight of outsourced providers to ensure adequate review and challenge of management information.

¨        Ensure all material control matters are escalated appropriately.

¨        Annual group reporting on risks and intra-group limits.

Requirements:

¨        Qualified Accountant with reporting experience

¨        Expert in standard Microsoft packages eg Excel, Word, Powerpoint

¨        Strong knowledge of regulatory returns.
