Professional and Administrative Support
Built and Natural Environment
Contract: Full time 2.5 year fixed term.
The Caledonian Environment Centre is a research and consultancy centre, within the School of the Built and Natural Environment. The Centre has just started a new three year, European funded project to work with the Scottish Food and Drink Sector, helping the industry improve its environmental performance and contribute to a low carbon economy for Scotland. There are around 1800 businesses in the sector and an important aspect of the project will be to effectively engage with these businesses through a new web portal.
As part of this programme, the University wishes to recruit a web developer professional, to develop and manage this web portal and provide a range of user support activities giving guidance and supervision. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have demonstrable advanced IT skills and knowledge.
Interviews are likely to take place week commencing 15 March 2010.
