Our client is an exciting organisation based just outside Glasgow.
Innovative and exciting , with a cutting edge product suite and a talented team, they are searching for a lead developer to complement their existing team.
This is a senior role in the organisation.
Key elements of the role will include
* leading key projects
* client liaison
* hands on development
* full product life cycle.
* producing functional specifications
* testing
This is a software development role, not web development.
Technically the successful candidate will have a strong background in the following,
* .NET
* c#
* Windows Forms
* Windows services
Ideally, you will have a strong background in most of the following;
· COM (Particularly Microsoft Office OLE automation)
· SQL Server 2000/2005 (or other relational database engines)
· SourceSafe or Team Foundation Server
· VB .NET and VB6
· Application packaging and deployment
· XML
