A new project team in a major financial services organisation is seeking a qualified accountant with excellent excel and communication skills.
The successful candidate will contribute to the definition and build of project governance function. In addition you will enable an improved understanding of the financial implications of decisions, by contributing to the definition, analysis and interpretation of financial information.
Other duties and responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring adherence to integration principles of synergy definition, allowable costs, spends and benefits
- Enhancing the financial control environment across the business units and carrying out direct action when required
- Promoting and facilitating the application of Finance policies and procedures within the project area
Key Capabilities / Knowledge:
- Ability to engage closely, effectively and assertively with all business units
- Excellent commercial orientation
- Experience of proactively operating with business teams to provide and interpret the impact of change
- Experience of business investment analysis
- Strong ability to influence and communicate across all levels and areas
