Data Analyst Glasgow

We are recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst to join an implementation team at a critical stage of migration to a new system. The role includes:

- Working between the supplier API developers and third party system owners to define, document and agree the data sets to be included in the interfaces (BizTalk) between systems. This will include data transformation rules and error handling. Communication skills are a must in this task and a clear understanding of issues relating to data issues in system interfaces.

- Owning the process for migration of data from legacy system to new product. Data analyst will analyse the data in legacy system and document a controlled migration process.

- Working with the business analysis team, provide data skills to ensure that reference data is correctly loaded across all environments. Experience in the analysis and execution of dataloader scripts.

- Assisting the test team in any data issues.

Applicants must have strong data analysis skills, technical ability and be a good communicator and eager to take ownership of data management in the implementation. Our client is looking to start this role as soon as possible.
