Our client who are the global leaders in their industry, have been established for over 150 years and have locations in over 200 countries in the world.
Their product is very straight forward and has a huge demand amongst high street retailers, especially in the current credit crunch. Their services help businesses attract more customers and increase their footfall.
The UK is a highly under developed market and so they are looking to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic sales professional to join their team and play a key role in the expansion of Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
You will be responsible for identifying and signing up new high street stores to offer and sell their product/services. Your focus will be to target the SME market including newsagents, chemists, travel agents, independent and small chain of stores and other similar businesses. Once the store has been approved, you will then train, account manage and develop the location and will be paid commission and bonuses at every stage.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate
- A strong sales background with lots of energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Commitment and drive to success
- Previous management experience (Desirable not Essential)
The role is solely field based and will involve traveling throughout your territory and managing your weekly work schedule.
