Change Recruitment have an excellent opportunity available for an administrative assistant looking for their next career step, within the offices of a leading corporate services organisation in Edinburgh. Working with the Senior and Managing Administrators, the post holder will provide the full remit of administrative support to the team, which will include data entry, filing and photocopying, along with more technical duties including the opening and closing of client accounts, completing stock and transfer forms and asset management specific tasks. Due to the nature of the work involved in this position, we are only seeking applications from candidates who have asset management or investments experience.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Liaison with clients and third party contacts
- Database update and management
- Completing stock and transfer forms accurately
- Completing bank mandates, contract notes and mail merged documents
- Preparing client packs
- Opening new files, ensuring all necessary documents are completed, and that all information is accurate
- Typing of a variety of documents
- Photocopying, filing and faxing
- Mail duties for the department
This role is an ideal opportunity for applicants with an interest in asset management or investments. We are looking for applicants who fit the basic criteria as stated for the role and who can display strong administration and communication skills, a careful and methodical approach to their work, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
