Vacancies exist within our Plant Engineering Services Branch for dynamics and condition monitoring engineers. Plant Engineering provides design, operational and safety case support for a variety of steam turbine and other rotating plant systems across the BE fleet.

You will be responsible for machinery condition monitoring and fault investigation/diagnosis using on and off-line vibration monitoring systems. You should have a proven track record and practical experience in machine dynamics, condition monitoring and fault diagnosis on rotating plant items. Vibration monitoring is one of the key technologies used to assess and maintain the health of high commercial/safety related plant.

As a minimum, applicants will have a relevant HNC (or equivalent). Candidates with a relevant degree, chartered status or actively working towards chartership may have an advantage.
