Semefab is a recognised and highly respected semiconductor manufacturer, based in Fife, with a reputation for quality products and superior customer service.

Having recently built a new MEMS fabrication area and currently in the process of building a new 6” wafer fabrication facility, we have full-time, permanent vacancies for a Process Engineer and/or a Senior Process Engineer in the following areas:

Process Diffusion Engineer

The successful applicant will have extensive experience within a Diffusion Engineering role. A thorough knowledge and understanding of Sputter, Implant, PVD would be advantageous. You will be responsible for:

• Providing production support to our current 4” CMOS and MEMS facility
• Carrying out project work for the new fabs
• Helping towards improving yield.
• Investigating and resolving process issues.

Photo Engineer

The successful applicant must have an extensive understanding and experience in the use of Nikon Steppers. Experience of setting up sub-micron processes is desirable.

The candidate

Extensive hands-on experience as a Process Engineer, preferably from working in a similar role is essential. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, or equivalent.

You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams, possess a sense of urgency working to tight deadlines and be and effective problem solver and organiser.
