QC Technician Ayrshire North   up to £21k+pension+share scheme

Our Client is dedicated to the development and marketing of novel diagnostic kits, they are currently entering a very exciting period of growth and as such are seeking to recruit a QC Technician

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the QC of all products manufactured at the Company site. This includes multiwall immunoassays, lateral flow devices and immunoaffinity columns. The appointee will be familiar with SOPs and will assist the Manager in updating of documentation and the generation of new SOPs. An ability to maintain accurate records is essential.

Candidates should be precise, meticulous and well - organised  and have a diploma or degree in a science subject combined with experience of working in a commercial environment. Preferably, they will have QC experience and be familiar with immunological – based products and HPLC. However, specific training on products will be provided. A working knowledge of Excel and Word is required as a minimum.

The initial salary will be in the range of £17K - £21K. A company pension scheme is available as is a preferential share purchase scheme.
