Electrical Maintenance Engineer Borders   £TBC

We are currently seeking an electrical maintenance engineer to join this well-established local employer, who have expanded steadily over the last number of years. You will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance tasks and be involved in initiatives to improve systems across this busy site. Key responsibilities will be to provide an efficient and reliable maintenance support service to maximise uptime and promote best practice methodologies.

This role is suited to an individual with a passion for problem solving, who has the ability to diagnose faults and suggest workable resolutions. You should have appropriate maintenance qualifications (minimum ONC or equivalent) and experience of working within a similar industrial/manufacturing environment.

This role will involve working shifts across a 24/7 operation, and you will likely be asked to follow the existing shift rotation of: 2 weeks early shift, 3 weeks dayshift, 2 weeks backshift and 1 week of nightshift.
