Our client has built up a reputation of delivering innovative, cost effective business and engineering solutions to owners, operators and suppliers to nuclear, conventional and renewable power sites.

They are now seeking applications from Electrical Engineers to support the growing generation office based in Glasgow.

The role will involve working as part of a growing team producing work for the power and energy industries. Work will involve engineering design/advice and may include the following:

Leading the electrical power generation engineering capability within the Glasgow office.

Leadership of Projects and Project Teams

Liaison with clients

Feasibility and conceptual design studies

Site survey and inspection activities

Analysis and design

Report and specification writing

Trouble shooting and problem-solving

Technical/commercial due-diligence advice

Requirements -

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience of large scale generation plant or other large rotating electrical plant

Previous experience within the power generation industry

Experience of an electrical engineering or design role within a power generation company or consultancy is preferred.

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered status
