3 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT-TEMPORARY position with possible LONGER TERM OPTIONS

Senior Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client in a wide and varied office admin and accounts position.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Sales ledger including processing of sales invoices, receipts and statements

·         Purchase ledger including processing of purchase invoices and payments

·         Cash book and monitoring bank accounts including weekly bank reconciliations

·         Computation of wages and salaries

·         Petty cash

·         VAT

·         Input of data onto Sage

·         Providing financial management information

·         Answering telephone queries and taking sales orders

·         Looking after general correspondence and emails

·         Maintaining an efficient filing system

·         Various duties associated with ferry operation including recording data and preparing reports

·         Setting out and printing company documentation

·         Adhoc duties required by directors

Successful candidates will have experience gained in a similar role, together with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and relevant finance software packages.

 Experience in dealing with SSP SMP and Inland Revenue queries would be an advantage.
