Position: Customer Services Executive
Location: Glasgow City Centre
Salary: £14500 + Bonus
Shifts: Rotational shift patterns five days from six. One Saturday a month
Hours:
Actual Rota – 0800 – 2000 – Monday to Friday and 0900 – 1230 on a Saturday.
Contracted – 0800 – 2200 – Monday to Friday and 0900 – 1700 on a Saturday.
Bonus - 25%
I need a fantastic direct sales consultant, the type that knows the ins and outs of call ownership and has the ability to handle calls first time without the need to pass on.
DO YOU KNOW ANYONE OR ARE YOU THE PERSON WE NEED OR DO YOU KNOW THE PERSON?
- 2 years Sales and customer service experience preferably within a financial environment
- 5 standard grades at grade 3 / C or above with Maths and English included or equivalent
- Computer literate
- Ability to work to quality targets
- A courteous manner
- A willingness to undertake training to enhance and accelerate performance
- Excellent communication skills.
Role Duties:
- Receive/make calls and covert sales leads/enquiries ensuring maximum value is delivered
- Develop and maintain product knowledge
- Identify and maximise cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain an excellent level of customer service to assist with the retention of business and repeat business
- Achieve sales targets
- Achieve strike rate/conversion targets
- Receive relevant internal licensing
- Achieve cross selling targets
- Systems updated accurately and efficiently
- Achieve coaching results

Your future employers Customer Service Department is responsible for providing after-sales care for their existing insurance customers. Predominately an inbound call environment, their objective is to provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ service for their customers. You are encouraged to spend as long as is needed to resolve the customer’s enquiry and to ensure they have the appropriate insurance cover for their needs. This approach has helped maintain customer retention rates close to 90% as well as staff attrition to below 4%. You will deal with a wide range of different types of enquiries, including giving general advice, making alterations to existing policies and taking payments.
There are no call length targets. Instead you’ll find the quality product portfolio and unique tailored approach means their customers actually want to talk to you.
You will be offered competitive starting salaries, comprehensive training programmes and regular team and company incentives. If you work in a client-facing role then you also have the potential to earn up to 25% monthly performance bonus. There's also a contributory pension scheme.
