The Knowledge Transfer Account (KTA) at Glasgow University will help to build upon the recognised strength and scale of the University’s EPSRC funded nanotechnology research and through the mechanisms and partnerships it develops enhance the effective transfer of knowledge into the marketplace.
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be required to contribute to increasing the level of EPSRC-related Knowledge Transfer (KT) activity with appropriate industrial partners in the nanotechnology area.
Duties will include the promotion of the University’s expertise to external stakeholders and industry; developing new collaborations; identifying opportunities for KT projects; supporting the successful implementation of KTA projects and providing KT training and mentoring for academic colleagues. You would expected to be able to effectively convey complex technical information in a manner which appropriate to a non-technical audience.
