HOME PROPERTY CLAIMS HANDLER         GLASGOW          TO £DOE      

 Due to continued expansion, our client, a leading loss adjuster based in city centre , is seeking an experienced  home property claims handler to join their team.

The role:

• Accurately and promptly accept and process new instructions for home property claims.  
• Accurately input data
• Manage client instructions through the development of high quality interpersonal skills and create good client relationships built around trust, respect and speedy resolution of assignments. Appointment making, diary management
• Dealing with telephone queries, day to day within agreed service criteria.
• Processing invoices, both interim and finals, referring where necessary.
• Reviewing cases in a proactive manner and taking action to move claim forward, referring where necessary.
• Dealing with and liaising with insurers and policy holders as appropriate.

The person:

Previous experience of handling home property claims from intimation through to settlement plus

• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Work as an individual and as part of a team
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Have a positive attitude and a proactive approach to solving problems
• Co-ordinate a variety of actions concurrently

Salary dependant on experience and cont pension REF 144A
