HR Consultancy are currently looking for experienced Claims Handlers to join this well established Insurer.    

Role  

You will work as part of a friendly and business focused team and will be responsible for handling the most complex cases within a specific service area whilst providing technical advice and guidance to internal and external customers as well as excellent customer service. You will also be required to give on the job training to less experienced staff and act as a referral point within the Claims team.      

Main responsibilities will include:

• Provide quality advice, investigate/settle claims in accordance with service standards
• Responsible for own caseload of claims from initial notification to settlement
• Develop effective business relationships internally and externally
• Maintain effective communication with staff and customers to maximise business performance
• Maximise technical expertise and develop an in-depth knowledge of products, procedures and precedents
• Provide coaching advice and training for staff within the area of specialist knowledge
• Plan and review own intermediaries performance to ensure targets are met
• Create and maintain a team working environment
• Meet business objectives

Required experience  

You will have a sound understanding of Claims, from a Commercial Liability or Motor Injury background and able to demonstrate and apply a high level of technical knowledge. You will be committed to providing a market leading service and enjoy being part of a successful company.
