The Business Information team, based in Scotland, provide key reports and analysis for all of Sky's Customer Group. This team supports our Contact Centres to resolve problems, identifies and analyses opportunities for growth and change. As a Senior Operations Analyst within Business Information, you will deliver in-depth analysis and interpretation of data that both supports our day to day operation and guides the strategic initiatives. You will be liaising across all layers of management both formally and informally through presentations, written reports and face to face meetings. Your key responsibilities include: -Working closely with key stakeholders across the business to ensure a clear understanding of their requirements - to enable you to work proactively and ultimately deliver the best solutions for these needs -Using data analysis techniques to contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the business by providing insight to all areas of the operation -Management responsibility for a team of specialist analysts. Focusing on developing their skills to enable them to best support their business area The successful candidates will have the following: -Proven understanding and practical application of Business Objects (or similar reporting applications), good SQL query skills, statistical / modelling software and the concepts of data warehousing -Advanced experience of using complex data analysis within a large, fast paced organisation to develop real insight -Ability to interpret and understand requirements and their business relevance -Confident and engaging communication and presentation style -Proactive attitude, using own initiative to resolve or pre-empt issues You will be dual sited between Livingston and Dunfermline. In addition there may be opportunities to work across sites throughout the UK. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08.30 - 17.00, 37.5 hours per week.
