Creative Marketing Manager Glasgow   Salary up to £40,000 pa

Our client is recognised as one of the Scotland’s leading retailers with an extensive range of brands in their portfolio.

They currently require an experienced Creative Marketer to assume responsibility for the following duties:

Typical work activities include:

• Meeting CEO or account managers to receive briefs for jobs
• Interpreting the business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose
• Estimating time taken to complete work and providing breakdowns for Account Managers
• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
• Maintains continuous knowledge level of key activity in the industry, competitors
• Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to CEO or account managers
• Working with a wide range of media
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their effectiveness within the following areas:

Must possess strong design abilities and be proficient in software applications such as InDesign, Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Must be a strong team player, always working to enhance the effectiveness, productivity and well being of the team. Respects and supports colleagues and provides honest and constructive feedback on team performance when necessary.  Always prepared to help other team members when they need it. Commands their respect.
