My client has a vacancy for a German speaking Customer Service Assistant  on their German Desk. This will be based in the Export Sales Department.  The successful candidate will be part of a busy team processing orders and enquiries from customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.  The post also requires liaison with Production Control and Warehouse.
 
The successful candidate must be demonstrate fluency in German.  They should also have proven experience in dealing with customers in a sales environment. It is also preferred you have experience with exports.
 
The main aspects of the role will include:

- Sales Order processing
- Answering sales enquiries (by telephone, email, fax)
- Investigating and processing commercial complaints
- Raising commercial credit/debit notes
- Following orders through to arrival at  the customer
- Providing support to other members of the Export Team

In addition, excellent communication and telephone skills are required, with the added ability of building good customer relationships.  Experience of another language is beneficial but not essential.
 
A proven team player, applicants must have a flexible approach and high levels of initiative along with excellent organisational and time management skills. The ability to work with minimal supervision is also required.
