A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations Executive to join a global financial services firm on a temporary basis.
The role holder will support operations management in achieving goals and objectives as well as adhering and maintaining procedures while understanding operational risk.
Responsibilities will include promoting a client focused culture, committing to continual improvement and idea generation as well as actively contributing to the team. In addition you will participate in regular team meetings, ensure there is an effective flow of information regarding operations issues and that rationale for decisions are appropriately and supportively explained. You will also produce minutes and make sure recommendations are investigated and presented as appropriate.
Candidates must have operations experience within the financial sector as well as a good working knowledge of settlement and trade management. Strong numerical skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative are essential. Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills are also crucial.
