I have a number of diverse businesses ranging from region-wide healthcare software systems to an electric bike centre!  We could go through the “delivering effective and compelling marketing and brand-awareness campaigns” drivel all day but I’m primarily a simple person so what I’m looking for is, therefore, also quite simple.

I need an experienced marketing person to look after all of the marketing and promotional activities for all of my businesses.   This could be advertising in local papers or in national magazines, updating of web sites, liaison with the press, organising press days, corresponding with Visit Scotland etc. etc. 

If you get the impression that no two days will be the same or that you’re going to have to be an excellent all rounder and definitely be able to think on your feet then you’d be right.

I don't suffer fools gladly or have time to allow a person to "develop into the job" either so please don't bother applying if you have little or no experience and don't think you can hit the ground running.   Anyone who gets an interview will be required to have a look at what we do at the moment and must be able to talk sensibly about how they could help us.  

The businesses are based in the Kinross area and Fife but we sell throughout Europe and attend conferences and exhibitions up and down the country so you need to be mobile and be able to travel when necessary.
