Search are looking to recruit an Accountant for our Client based in Fife. The role offers good career potential and you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills while working with professional qualified senior staff. The purpose of the role is to support the Financial Controller and the Senior Financial Accountant in providing accurate and timely accounting records.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting with the monthly financial closing

Preparation and posting of journals to general ledger including all supporting documentation

Preparation of bank and all balance sheet account reconciliations including Accounts Receivable, Payable, Inventory and Inter Company, providing the documentation necessary to support the balances

Updating Fixed Assets register and calculation of depreciation expense
Calculation of Accruals and Prepayments at month end

Preparation of daily sales and cost of sales and communication to management team

Preparation of monthly commission expense of sales team
Assisting with internal and external audits, including but not limited to Sox
