BI Systems Analyst/Developer - Edinburgh - £300 - £600 per day - 3 Month Contract - May extend -There may be an option to be London based

The Client
My client a highly successful global retailer is looking for a consultant that can assist with the development of a Business information suite which will consolidate data by proving reports and analysis tools to meet the business requirements. They currently operate an ERP system that handles supply, stock, order processing and the sales ledger with limited reporting functionality and information is not extracted easily

The Requirement
My client is looking for an experienced BI developer to drive the project forward interpreting requirements from executive management, defining, documenting and implementing a company-wide suite of reports and tools and providing users with appropriate training and support as the project is rolled out across the user community.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing Business Intelligence Solutions preferably with Qlikview experience. They will also demonstrate:

- Experience of Business Objects, Cognos and Crystal Reports would be considered
- Hands on experience of delivering business intelligence solutions
- Able to work with complex datasets and multiple data sources
- Be delivery focussed & output driven
- Best practice and methodical approach to solution
- Strong decision making and negotiation skills
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skill
- Self starter with minimal supervision

The role will be based in either Edinburgh or London but will have some travel required. There will also be availability to carry out some work from home
