The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering has a vacancy for a KTP Associate within the Centre for Ultrasonic Engineering (CUE). This project is focussed on the implementation of an ultrasonic, non-destructive testing (NDT) technology for in situ assessment of plastic pipes used in water and gas distribution infrastructure. The program will draw on a range of skills, including but not limited to: electronics; signal processing; hardware and software design and integration; wave propagation and materials science.
Applications will be considered from candidates possessing an excellent degree in an appropriate discipline of Engineering (Electronic and Electrical/Mechanical) or Science (Physics/Materials).
