Development Scientist Ayrshire North   c£25k+Pension+Share scheme

Our Client is dedicated to the development and marketing of novel diagnostic kits, they are currently entering a very exciting period of growth and as such are seeking to recruit a Development Scientist

An experienced immunologist is required to prepare antibodies, conjugates, control materials, antigens etc. for the manufacture of a wide range of  ELISA and lateral flow diagnostic products. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in the effective transfer of new products from R&D to Production and the generation and updating of related SOPs. Troubleshooting and staff product training are other components of this varied and important role.

Candidates are sought who have a first degree that includes immunology and possibly a higher degree plus experience of working on immunoassays and antibodies in a commercial environment. Excellent written and communication skills are essential. Experience of working to ISO standard would be helpful.

The initial salary will be in the range of  £18K - £25K. A company pension scheme and preferential share purchase scheme are offered.
