Contracts / Sales Engineer Glasgow   Attractive Salary

A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Contracts / Sales Engineer to join our client’s well established manufacturing organisation. You will be responsible for undertaking business development as well as preparing quotations for client’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

•Developing business with existing and new customers
•Receive customer enquiries and identify appropriate solution
•Prepare technical quotations
•Prepare order acknowledgements
•Sales quotation follow up and order negotiation

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a mechanical discipline coupled with a demonstrable track record of working within a similar role. Ideally you will possess experience of working with rotating equipment. Good communication and organisational skills are essential and you will have excellent time management skills. You will also have strong negotiation and influencing skills as you will be regularly liaising with prospective and existing customers. Some travel may be required within the UK so flexibility in regards to travel is essential.
