Laboratory Supervisor Ayrshire North   c£22k+pension+share scheme

Our Client is dedicated to the development and marketing of novel diagnostic kits, they are currently entering a very exciting period of growth and as such are seeking to recruit a Laboratory Supervisor.

An experienced person is required to manage an expanding range of laboratory services that utilize both immunoassay and DNA technologies. Excellent scheduling and staff management skills are required, as is the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Working to demanding timescales will be a feature of the job. Familiarity with working to ISO 17025 standards and with writing and maintaining SOPs is a key qualification.

Candidates should have a degree in immunology and/or DNA analytical procedures combined with at least 2 years’ experience working in a commercial analytical laboratory. An ability to effectively use Excel, Word and other relevant computer programmes is a requisite of the position.

The initial salary will be in the region of £22K. A company pension scheme and a preferential share purchase scheme are available.
