As one of Europe's leading providers of public sector procurement solutions we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join our established Public Sector Solutions team.

Having recently celebrated our 25th Anniversary and moved into our new state-of-the art Medius building located at the heart of Glasgow's Media Centre at Pacific Quay, Glasgow, this is a genuine opportunity to really make a mark for yourself by joining an organisation which has grown to employ in excess of 220 people.

This will be a varied and challenging role that will encompass the core elements of business development and account management.  Supported by our office based Sales Executives, you will be responsible for forging strong relationships with our client base through displaying a thorough understanding of our products and services.   

This will include conducting presentations and product demonstrations with our clients which will include Local Authorities and Councils. There will be a significant amount of travel incorporated into the role and candidates must be able and willing to commit to spending periods of time working away from the office.  As such, a current driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.

The successful candidate will have developed a strong background within a field based sales environment and bring with them a proven track record of success.  Whilst you will have the full support of the office based team, the successful candidates will be self-motivated and have the ability to successfully manage their own diary.  Knowledge of the public sector would be highly desirable but is not essential for the role as full training will be provided.
