Credit Control Specialist East Kilbride   £1 per annum + Market Rate + Strong Benefits Package

Eden Scott is currently assisting our client with their search for an experienced and professional Credit Control Specialist to join their UK Finance Team based in East Kilbride.

Reporting to the Regional Credit Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of customers, providing a full credit service ranging from credit review to relationship management.

Duties will include:

• Credit checking potential customers and liaising with sales team to authorise supply
• Monitoring of portfolio and managing Cashflow of clients
• Collection of overdue invoices, maintaining client relations at all times
• Allocations of monies and reconciliations of customer accounts
• Initiate adjustments to customer accounts through debit memos, credit memos and write-offs.
• Liaise with sales and operational management to discuss problem customers, hold on accounts, etc
• Development of internal debtor controls by suggesting process improvements and assisting with implementation of recommended changes.

Candidate Requirements:

• Extensive credit control and collections experience, ideally ICM qualified
• Ability to analysis financial statements with ability to interpret trends, risk, etc
• Experience of collections of large multi-national accounts.
• General accounting knowledge preferred
• Ability to work within a team
• Working knowledge of SAP beneficial
