Job Title: Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator 

Job Overview: The role of the Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator is to provide support to the Commercial Director & Marketing Manager in the implementation of both the sales and marketing strategies.  This particular role will focus on delivering excellent marketing communications across a range of platforms whilst also supporting UK sales administration activities.  The jobholder should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational abilities, enthusiasm and the confidence to deal with people at all levels both internally and in a variety of media and supplier organisations.   

The Company: bpi.industrial is a world leader in the manufacture of heavy-duty polythene packaging and offers a comprehensive range of products from ‘off the shelf’ packaging to highly effective, tailor-made solutions.  In addition to industrial packaging the company’s horticulture division, bpi.visqueen supplies horticultural films which include field tunnel covers, greenhouse control films, crop covers and mulch films.

Job Description: 

·         Managing and executing marketing communication campaigns to develop awareness of the company and its products                                         

·         Working with the PR Agency to implement appropriate PR strategies for each part of the business 

·         Co-ordinating brand management and product positioning 

·         Co-ordinating exhibition and event activities from sourcing venues to event management and follow-up. 

·         Conducting competitor analysis and marketing segment analysis (growth trends; changes in requirements; issues etc.) 

·         Website development and maintenance 

·         Undertaking UK Horticulture sales administration and co-ordination 

·         Providing back-up to Export Sales Administrator for holiday cover
