Overview: - Responsible for all existing group brand and e-commerce systems. To provide strategic direction and leadership to the Group functions reporting to this position, including E-Commerce, Brand Awareness, Internal and External Communication, Public Relations and Events. Overall To lead the brand planning and E-Commerce strategy including development, implementation & analysis of all marketing and e-business activity. Develop PR strategy using a range of communication methods to ensure organisational objectives are met.
Objectives: - Drive brand and e-business strategies to have the Group recognised as being a leading company in their vertical market within the UK. Raise the profile of all brands with existing and potential partners through developing and maintaining a wide range of external contacts. Identify profitable niche markets and develop segmentation strategies to improve customer profitability. Continually develop the online applications and customer processes in line with business strategy.
Knowledge: - High degree of on-line competency, particularly with aggregators and third party traffic managers. Previous experience of applying customer segmentation and brand strategies. Track record of measuring customer lifetime value and demonstrating return on investment. Ability to add value to the business through the creation and management of communication and PR strategies. Experience of managing key relationships at senior levelsand the ability to lead discussions and negotiations to secure competitive contracts with suppliers.
The person - Communication skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail towards every task completed. Logical Problem solver - to enjoy finding solutions to problems. You will be proactive as well as looking for solutions to challenges. Certain flexibility and adaptability is required. Leader, and proven senior Manager / Director. Highly self motivated, with the energy and determination to succeed in a very fast paced environment where the pace of response and leadership is critical to success.
