The Role:
My client is a worldwide brand and market leader in the industry of document security. Due to successful growth they are expanding their sales team in Glasgow and require a Field Sales Executive to compliment their existing team. This role is primarily a new business role however there will be existing clients that will require account management.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven track record in a field sales role
Good attention to detail and a proactive, hands on approach
Clear, confident communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated with a desire to make a difference
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
To plan and prepare to make sufficient sales calls each day to achieve agreed sales targets.
To make frequent calls to existing customers to maintain their business (this will involve meetings with the Managing director/decision maker).
Capture and monitor all sales leads in the area of your responsibility.
Record and track all customer visits. Supply the manager with a weekly forecast of intended visits; time to be spent in office etc.
To complete all necessary administration accurately and on time in line with Company procedures.
Be aware and implement all marketing initiatives.
When appointments are scheduled ensure that the time in the designated area is maximised.
Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of £18,000 to £22,000 plus uncapped bonus. This role also includes a company car and a mobile phone.
