Our client currently requires a Payroll Assistant to be based within their Lanarkshire offices. Working within a high volume payroll processing department, part of a busy team,
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- All payroll data collection and input (spreadsheets, change forms, leavers, new-starts, P45/P46, absence, overtime, bonus).
- All expenses checks, controls and inputs
- All process checks and controls
- Preferred experience of payroll processing via SAP software.
- Collation of all costing data for recharging as part of automated journal.
- Payroll reporting (Gross to net / Gross breakdown etc)
- Commentary for sign-off (prior to BACS)
- Preparation of payments to employees
- Preparation of 3rd party payments (i.e. PAYE / NIC)
- Payroll statistics / analysis
- Dealing with payroll queries
- Preparing Pensions/Arrestments/Childcare payments ready for finance to pay
- Liasing with Finance Team as necessary
- Creation and reconciliation of payroll journals for Finance (with help of systems acct).
