IFRS/Technical Accounting Director Glasgow   £Excellent + Bonus + healthcare + other

Hudson is working with a Global organisation based in Glasgow City Centre.  Due to continuous success and growth of their Glasgow operations, they require a qualified accountant for this specialist high profile hire.

Working closely with the large finance team that is currently in place, the successful candidate will provide the following expert support:

• Resolution of technical queries under UK GAAP and IFRS
• Technical reviews of financial statements
• Development and delivery of technical training courses
• Development of reporting tools and control procedures to enhance the standard of financial reporting
• General advisory input to the control environment.

The role will be filled by someone with an In-depth technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, with a willingness to learn other GAAPs.  This role may suit a senior accounting professional currently working within the Big 4 or someone who has worked in a similar role in a large blue chip organisation.
