Temporary Property Claims Handler Glasgow   £8 to £9 per hour

We are currently looking for a number of Temporary  Property Claims Advisers for our client who is a leading insurance specialist. Contracts that on offer are from 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of the positions becoming permanent.

You will be dealing with Domestic Property Claims and be responsible for claims of up to £25,000.  The roles will include :

·                     Taking the claim instruction from the insurance company
·                     Carry out full investigations on the loss and assess liability and quantum
·                     Arranging for suppliers, contractors and other 3rd parties to attend
·                     Negotiate settlements with the policyholder
·                     Report findings and settlement payments to the insurance companies

The role requires someone who has :
 
A strong claims background - commercial or domestic claims
Good communication skills
Strong organisational skills
The ability to respond to queries efficiently and effectively
